Exterior facade · United States

An ultra-white exterior, sourced and validated.

Benched face of a white marble quarry, crews at the foot of the wall for scale

The problem

An architect-led private villa required an ultra-white exterior stone, an alternative to a premium benchmark material, without giving up long-term exterior performance. The wrong choice substitutes late, or fails outdoors.

The approach

We supported the U.S. contractor through direct Mediterranean sourcing, screening candidates across Greece, Turkey and the Balkans, matching visual targets (brightness, crystal structure, vein control) to measurable exterior performance. Screening was paired with validation: coordinated sample production, reviewed finish behavior, and profile mockups (moldings and facade details) to confirm edge geometry, surface response and buildability before commitment.

  • Direct Mediterranean sourcing scan
  • Samples and profile mockups
  • Material identification
  • EN and ASTM data pack and spec support
Tumbled white and gray stone sample tiles compared side by side during finish review

Independent EN and ASTM data supported a defensible specification path.

The outcome

The contractor secured a credible, cost-effective exterior solution aligned with the original design intent. A concise technical package per option (density, absorption, porosity, strength, exposure suitability) made the proposal spec-ready. Samples and mockups reduced approval friction, accelerated decisions, and avoided last-minute substitutions or technical disputes.
