Calacatta Vagli, made to read as one composition.

Calacatta marble slab hoisted in the workshop during selection for a vein-matched master bath

The problem

A high-detail master bath in Calacatta Vagli, driven by one priority: controlled veining across every visible surface. The scope ran to 45 degree mitered edges, niches and multiple cut-to-size components, with tight coordination across fluted wall panels and shower transitions, the places where failure hides.

The approach

From early slab and block screening to final cut-to-size, we held the aesthetic intent through fabrication. Drawings were validated, the block-versus-slab call made, and the detailing logic aligned before production to remove downstream improvisation. One rule governed selection and layout: the stone reads as a single composition, not separate pieces.

  • Slab selection and vein strategy
  • CAD review and buildability check
  • Miter and niche coordination
  • QC tied to packing-list verification

The outcome

An install-ready package with consistent veining, cleaner miter transitions, and fewer site-level decisions. Upstream aesthetic control and technical validation reduced fabrication risk and protected the final look across all surfaces.
