Towering white marble quarry wall in Europe, source of natural stone for Alimonta projects

Stone Project Execution · Fabrication & Quality Control

Your stone, made and
verified in Italy.
Quarry block to your jobsite.

We source, fabricate, quality-control and ship your cut-to-size stone, so it reaches your U.S. site install-ready. You keep the client. We run the stone.

Not a vendor. Not a broker.
Your Stone Project Partner in Italy.

Why we are different

We go to the stone. We do not buy it on a screen.

Most stone is bought from a photo and a price list. We do the opposite. When you hand us a project, we get on a plane, walk the quarry, and choose the block in the same light it was cut in.

Naxos, Greece · reading the quarry face
  1. 01

We pick the block in person.

Vein, tone, and the flaws a photo hides. The block we choose is the block that ships.

  2. 02

We know who owns the mountain.

Decades of relationships hold the right block for the right project, and the price we bring back is the real one.

  3. 03

The same hands carry it through.

From the quarry to the crate on your jobsite, nothing changes hands behind your back.

The real failure point

Complex residential projects fail on coordination, not on stone.

Fragmented sourcing turns a finite material into an open-ended risk. The damage shows up late, on site, where it is most expensive to fix.

  • Dimensional errors
  • Finish inconsistencies
  • Missing pieces
  • Crate confusion on site
  • Installation delays
  • Costly claims

One service. Seven phases.

You run the client. We become your Stone Project Partner.

We do one thing. You keep the project and the client relationship. We run the stone in seven connected phases, from the first drawing to the crate on your jobsite. Not a menu of services to pick from, one partner and one structured system, documented before anything ships.

  • AutoCADDrawing review and dimensional validation
  • Bluebeam RevuTake-offs and markups on your real documents
  • SketchUp & Rhino3D models of the work before it is cut, to surface fabrication problems early
  • EasyCargoCrate mapping and container load planning

We execute the full range, and we specialise in two where few European partners can match us: ventilated stone facades and custom hardscape.

01

Brief & De-risk

We read your CAD, drawings and cut tickets, run the takeoff, and flag tolerances, edges and imperial/metric gaps before anything is cut.

  • CAD review and dimensional validation
  • Takeoff and quantity audit
  • Tolerance and edge alignment
  • Early risk identification

02

Sample & Approve

The phase that takes the most time, and the one that protects the whole job. We source physical samples across materials, finishes and tones, and work them back and forth until you and your client sign off on the exact look.

  • Material and finish options
  • Samples shipped for approval
  • Tone and texture matching
  • Client sign-off before sourcing

03

Match the Slabs

With the approved sample in hand, we walk every warehouse in Verona and Valpolicella, reading each slab against it until the real material matches the sign-off.

  • Warehouse-by-warehouse selection
  • Each slab read against the sample
  • Vein and tone consistency
  • Lot reserved for your job

04

Price

Executable pricing on verified routes, built on real sourcing and never theoretical rates: slabs in 24 hours, complex scopes in 2 to 5 days.

Produce & Control

Cut-to-size with QC in the workshop, in person: edge profiles, thicknesses, vein continuity and lot consistency, documented before anything leaves.

  • Finish and edge verification
  • Vein continuity and lot control
  • Photo documentation

Crate & Pack

Crate engineering and packing lists built for installation, not just transport, mapped to your install order.

  • Crate mapping and IDs
  • Weight distribution planning
  • Install-ready packing logic
  • Packing list verification

07

Ship & Deliver

Export, container-weight logic and U.S. delivery: crates arrive clear, traceable and install-ready, in install order.

  • Export documentation
  • Container scheduling
  • Pre-shipment verification
  • Controlled U.S. delivery

Typical deliverables

  • QC photo sets
  • Verified packing lists
  • Crate maps
  • Weight summaries
  • Production timeline tracking
  • Risk notes before shipment

When it applies

  • Multi-container residential estates
  • Outdoor hardscape packages
  • Complex cut-to-size programs
  • Tight installation schedules
  • International sourcing scenarios

What we specialise in

Two things few European partners can deliver finished.

We run the full range of stone execution. Where we go deeper than almost anyone is the work that is hardest to get right across an ocean: the stone that hangs on a building, and the stone that lives outdoors.

01 / Ventilated facades

We hand over a finished facade panel, not a slab.

Solid cladding with kerf anchors, or a lightweight stone face on an aluminium honeycomb core. We pick the block at the quarry, machine the panel to your anchor system, control it in person, and crate it by elevation.

  • Rainscreen drainage and ventilation
  • Kerf and undercut anchoring
  • ASTM-qualified stone selection

02 / Custom hardscape

Bespoke exterior stone, cut to the drawing.

Pavers, copings, steps, pool surrounds and custom details in natural stone, cut to format and finish for the outside. We supply the right stone ready to lay. Your crew owns the base and the install.

  • Finish and thickness matched to load
  • Freeze-thaw and slip qualified
  • Crated install-ready, by zone

Proof of execution

Real material. Documented from quarry to crate.

We manage container-scale sourcing for high-end U.S. projects, with verified selection, production oversight and installation-ready crating across Europe and the Mediterranean.

Discretion

Your client is yours. Your projects stay off this site.

The finished work belongs to the contractor we built it for, not to us. That is why you will not find a gallery of completed homes here, only material and process: quarry, block, fabrication, crate. We work behind you, never around you.

  • Your information stays confidential. Drawings, quantities and client names are yours. We will never ask you to share what you cannot, and we never pass it on.
  • No finished-project photos, ever. The work is yours to show, not ours. We document material and crates, never your client's home.
  • We do not compete with our own partners. We keep a small book on purpose, and we do not take on those who would compete with the people we already serve.

Who we are

A lean European arm with a senior network behind it.

I am Michele Alimonta, based in Verona, Italy, minutes from the core stone production district. I act as the dedicated European manufacturing and project-control arm for a select group of U.S. stone contractors, project managers and installers.

Behind me is a network built over decades. My father, Gianluca Alimonta, has 40+ years in the stone industry and long-standing relationships with quarries, block holders and workshops across Italy and the Mediterranean.

You get the depth and network of a large operation, with the speed and accountability of one person who knows your job by name. To keep response times fast and attention consistent, I take on only two additional active partners.

FAQ

How we work, in short.

Straight answers to the questions U.S. teams ask first.

How do you approach a new request?

We start with a structured scope review: drawings (PDF or DWG), unit system, thicknesses, edge details, tolerances, quantities and delivery target. If anything is unclear we issue a short clarification list before pricing, so the quote stays executable through production, packing and export.

Do you replace our installers?

No. We do not replace installers and we do not compete locally. We operate upstream in Europe, so that when material reaches the job site it is organized, verified and ready to install.

Is this material brokerage?

No. This is controlled execution. We coordinate sourcing, production, quality control and export logistics as one structured system, with documented oversight before shipment.

Where do you source and produce?

Across Italy, Europe and the Mediterranean, chosen by the material and the fabrication logic of each project. We define the optimal production route per job.

How many clients do you take on?

We stay selective. To keep response times fast and attention consistent, we take on only two additional active partners at a time.
